Bangladesh Bar Council  has published a notice of form fill-up for High Court Permission Written Examination-2024 on 01-01-2024 on their official website www.bar.teletalk.com.bd .Accordingly the procedure for filling the form will start from 01-02-2024 and will continue until 01-03-2024. The candidates will be able to complete the registration through prescribed website www.bar.teletalk.com.bd

Date of Advocateship Enrolment Written Exam- 2023 of Bangladesh Bar Council published

Bangladesh Bar Council has notified the date of Advocateship Enrolment Written Exam- 2023 by an official notice on its website.  Accordingly, said written exam will be held on 23 December, 2023.

The notice also contains "It is hereby informed for the information of all concerned in continuation of the circular issued vide Memorandum No.-BBC/Enroll/2023/1761, dated: 20-08-2023 and Memorandum No.- BBC/Enroll/2023/2133, dated: 17-10-2023, that Bangladesh  The written examination of the candidates who passed the Enrollment MCQ examination held on 17-11-2023 of the Bar Council will be held on 23-12-2023, every Saturday from 09:30 am to 01430 pm for 4 hours, subject to availability of required number of examination centers.  Every candidate concerned for the written examination has to download the new admit card from online and print it in color.  Therefore, all the candidates appearing for the written test must be included in the online data base of the written test."

Date of Bar Council Enrolment MCQ and Written Exam- 2023 Published

Bangladesh Bar Council has published the date of MCQ and Written Exam for the enrolment as advocate. Accordingly, MCQ exam will be held on 17/11/23 and written exam will be held on 22/12/23.

The notice says "It is hereby informed for the information of all concerned in continuation of the circular issued vide Memorandum No-BBC/Enroll/2023/1761, dated: 20-08-2013 that the upcoming Enrollment MCQ Examination of Bangladesh Bar Council will be held on 17th  November, 2023, will be held every Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for one hour.  Detailed notice regarding MCQ examination roll-number-wise examination center list, online admit card etc. will be published later on the official website of Bar Council (www.barcouncil.gov.bd) in due course.

For the information of all concerned, it is further informed that the written examination of the candidates who have cleared the upcoming MCQ examination will be held on Friday 22nd December, 2023, subject to availability of required number of examination centers.  The details of the written exam will be informed later in due course.  Note that as per Bar Council Rule 603 (3) Candidates who have passed the immediate previous MCQ examination i.e. Enrollment MCQ examination held on 17-06-2022 but failed/failed to appear in the subsequent written examination, can participate in the Enrollment written examination to be held on 22-12-2023  .  The detailed notification for such candidates to fill the online form and pay the written exam fee for participating in the written exam will be published soon."

A remainder notice for bar council form fill-up has been published today by Bangladesh Bar Council on their official website. The notice contains the following information:

"It is hereby informed for the information of all concerned in continuation of the previous circular of the Bar Council vide Memorandum No.-BBC/Enroll/2023/1718, dated: 10-08-2023 and Memorandum No.- BBC/Enroll/2023/1761, dated: 20-08-2023 that  , Bar Council Advocate Enrollment (MCQ) Exam online form filling process is ongoing at the designated web site (http://bar.teletalk.com.bd).  The form can be filled online (http://bar.teletalk.com.bd) till 11:59 PM on 20-09-2023.  After the said date and time there will be no further opportunity to fill the form.  All the eligible candidates who wish to participate in the upcoming Enrollment (MCQ) examination as per the conditions mentioned in the said notice are requested to complete the online form filling process within the stipulated time.

Final result of High Court Permission exam-2023 has been published by Bangladesh Bar Council. See the results here.

The Advocates and the Former Judicial Officers bearing the following Roll Numbers have qualified in the viva-voce examination for permission to practise in the High Court Division, held in the Supreme Court Auditorium Bhaban from 05/08/2023 to 10/08/2023 and on 19/08/2023 to 20/08/2023 have been permitted under Article 21(1)(a) and 21(1)(c) read with Rule 65A of the Bangladesh Legal Practitioners and Bar Council Order & Rules, 1972, to practise in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh with effect from 23-08-2023. Enrolment Committee reserves the right to correct any error in the result found subsequently.

Date and Process of Bar Council MCQ Exam-2023 Online Form Fill-up Date and Process

It is hereby to inform  all concerned that the Bangladesh Bar Council advocate enrollment M.C.Q exam will be held soon.  The online form filling process of the exam will continue from 20-08-2023 to 20-09-2023.

Candidates whose registration period (five years) has already expired or will expire on 20-09-2023 are advised to renew their registration for the upcoming enrollment examination by connecting to the online registration process of the Bar Council.

The details of filling the online form of the examination and the probable date of taking the examination and other related information will be published on the official website of Bangladesh Bar Council (www.barcouncil.gov.bd) in due course.

High Court Written 3rd Examiner's Result Published

The answer scripts of the 195 examinees were re-examined by the "Third Examiner". Out of them, the examinees bearing the following Roll Numbers who appeared in the written examination on 04-03-2023 for permission to practise in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, have qualified in the said examination. They are now required to appear in the viva-voce examination. Details of their viva-voce examination will be announced in due course.
